What kind of work do you take on?
Just about anything on a house or a property. BelAir is a general contractor and a jack of all trades — handyman repairs, renovations and additions, new builds, decks, pole barns and barn work, garage doors, excavation and site work, property cleanouts and maintenance, and home inspections.
Do you take small jobs, or only big projects?
Small jobs are genuinely welcome — a lot of the work is handyman lists that other contractors will not drive out for. If you have several small things, send the whole list and they can usually be done in one visit.
What areas do you cover?
BelAir Construction is based in Nampa and works within about a 45-mile radius, covering the greater Boise metro and the Treasure Valley — including Caldwell, Meridian, Boise, Middleton, Star, Kuna, Eagle, Melba, Wilder, Parma, Marsing and Emmett.
How soon can you get out, and how soon can work start?
Usually out to look at the job within 5 to 7 days, with most work starting inside the month. If something is genuinely urgent, say so when you call.

Can you work to my budget?
Usually, and it is something we do deliberately. Working to a real budget often means reclaimed material or a sensible alternative product rather than the catalogue option — which is frequently a better result, not a worse one. If an alternative would be a false economy on your job, you will be told that instead.
Do you give prices over the phone?
No. Every job gets looked at and quoted properly, because a number given sight-unseen is either padded to be safe or simply wrong. The visit costs you nothing but time.
How long have you been in business?
Since 1996. It is family owned and operated, and Clete Miller has run it throughout.
Can I speak to previous customers?
Yes. Current and local references are available for contact — ask when Clete comes out. It is the most useful thing you can do before choosing any contractor.
